Frankie Faison est un acteur américain né en 1949 en Virginie. Il a commencé sa carrière au début des années 1980 et est surtout connu pour son rôle du commissaire Ervin H. Burrell dans la série télévisée Sur écoute, une performance qui a marqué sa carrière dans le genre policier. Il est également célèbre pour avoir interprété le personnage de Barney Matthews dans Le Silence des agneaux ainsi que dans ses suites, collaborant avec des acteurs majeurs comme Anthony Hopkins. Outre ces rôles emblématiques, il a joué dans des films cultes comme Do the Right Thing et Un prince à New York, et dans des séries comme Banshee et The Village, confirmant son talent dans des rôles aussi divers que mémorables.
