Mary Eileen McDonnell (née le 28 avril 1952) est une actrice américaine de cinéma, de théâtre et de télévision. Elle a reçu une nomination aux Oscars pour son rôle de Stands With A Fist dans Danse avec les loups, et elle est également très connue pour son interprétation de la présidente Laura Roslin dans Battlestar Galactica, de l'épouse du président dans Independence Day, et pour son rôle principal dans Donnie Darko en tant que mère du personnage principal.
