James Anthony Sturgess (né le 16 mai 1978) est un acteur anglais et auteur-compositeur-interprète. Son rôle de percée apparaissait comme Jude dans le film de comédie musicale Across the Universe ( En 2008, il joue le rôle principal masculin de Ben Campbell à l'âge de 21 ans. En 2009, il joue Gavin Kossef dans le film policier Crossing Over, apparaissant avec Harrison Ford, Ray Liotta et Ashley Judd. Dans le film The Way Back, réalisé par Peter Weir, Sturgess a joué dans le film de science-fiction épique Cloud Atlas, qui a commencé à tourner en septembre 2011 et a été publié en octobre 2012.
