Charles Hodgson est un aristocrate britannique qui décide de devenir un voleur pour s'attaquer à son frère jumeau, Earl, un expert en sécurité qui a construit un coffre-fort supposé imprenable à Tel-Aviv, qui contient une cache de diamants. Pour le câlin, Charles fait appel à Archie, un expert en braquage, et à Sally. Il fait également la connaissance d'une Américaine, Zelda Shapiro, qui est en Israël à la recherche d'un nouveau mari.
