Le 11 avril 1992, l'animateur Jean-Pierre Foucault et le chanteur David Hallyday présentent une soirée exceptionnelle en direct sur TF1 de 20h50 à 23h, pour célébrer l'inauguration d'Euro Disney Resort. Euro Disney L'Ouverture est diffusée en dispositif de mondovision pour l'occasion conférant à cet événement médiatique son caractère internationale (CBS aux Etats-Unis). De nombreux concerts sont organisés et beaucoup d'images présentant les lieux (le Parc Disneyland, le reste du Resort et ses plans d'expansion futurs) sont diffusés.
