Ajay Dixit, un professeur d'histoire ordinaire dans un lycée, jouit d'une mini-célébrité dans sa ville grâce à la fausse image qu'il s'est forgée. Il entretient une relation tendue avec sa femme qui vient de se marier. Les circonstances l'obligent à faire un voyage en Europe pour la commémoration de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, accompagné de sa femme. Sa relation avec sa femme survivra-t-elle à ce voyage ?
