Pierre, qui est étudiant aux Beaux-Arts, et Denise, qui est étudiante en chimie, travaillent pour un grand magasin où, portant des costumes de mariés, ils distribuent des prospectus aux passants. Le directeur du magasin, Bernard, tombe amoureux de Denise et s'arrange pour l'emmener dans une auberge non loin de Paris, dirigée par le séduisant Robert. Celui-ci ouvre les yeux de Denise qui finit par regagner son domicile. Après une bagarre entre Pierre et Bernard, Denise finit par choisir de rester avec Pierre.
