Laissant derrière elle un passé douloureux, Sarah emménage à Los Angeles dans l’appartement « one-bedroom » de ses rêves. Elle est chaleureusement accueillie par ses voisins mais très vite, des bruits étranges et menaçants se font entendre la nuit.
