Charlotte, une fille célèbre dans son campus, s'apprête à aller à une fête sans son copain Wesley, sorti en ville pour la soirée. Lorsqu'elle réalise qu'elle a trop bu, elle quitte la fête, accompagnée de Jim, un charmant jeune homme avec qui elle a dansé. Ils vont aller trop loin... Pleine de honte et de remords, elle a du mal à affronter la réalité et à trouver le courage d'en parler.
