Seth Rogen (né le 15 avril 1982) est un acteur, comédien, doubleur, scénariste et producteur de films canadien. Rogen a commencé sa carrière en faisant du stand-up comédie pendant quatre ans pendant son adolescence, terminant deuxième au Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest en 1998. Alors qu'il vivait toujours dans sa ville natale de Vancouver, il a décroché un rôle de soutien dans Freaks and Geeks. Peu de temps après que Rogen a déménagé à Los Angeles pour son rôle, Freaks and Geeks a été annulé après une saison en raison de mauvaises notes. Il a ensuite obtenu un rôle dans Undeclared, tout aussi éphémère, qui l'a également embauché comme rédacteur. Après avoir décroché un poste d'écrivain pour la dernière saison de Da Ali G Show, pour lequel Rogen et les autres scénaristes ont reçu une nomination aux Emmy, il a été guidé par le producteur de films Judd Apatow vers une carrière cinématographique. Après avoir reçu des éloges critiques pour cette performance, Universal Pictures a accepté de le nommer en tête du prochain long métrage de réalisateur d'Apatow, Knocked Up.
Rogen est apparu dans les films Donnie Darko, You, Me and Dupree, Zack et Miri Make a Porno, Observe and Report, et The Green Hornet, ainsi que dans les comédies produites par Apatow The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express et Funny People. Lui et son partenaire de comédie Evan Goldberg ont co-écrit les films de comédie Superbad et Pineapple Express, pour lesquels il avait initialement l'intention de faire la une de ses études secondaires. Rogen a fourni des talents vocaux dans les films d'animation Horton Hears a Who !, Kung Fu Panda et Monsters vs. Aliens. Il soutient également Crowdrise, un site de réseautage caritatif.
