L'histoire d'une équipe de tournage qui réalise un documentaire sur Rick Klingman, homme politique véreux associé à Simon, un autre « agent » avec qui il espère faire tomber un candidat rival au Congrès. Ensemble, ils contournent les règles de courtoisie de la société et protestent contre tout et n'importe quoi dans le seul but de gagner de l'argent et de se faire un nom.
