Une année que Pinocchio est devenu un vrai petit garçon, et pour fêter cet anniversaire, Geppetto lui a cuisiné un beau gâteau. Après la visite de la fée marraine de Pinocchio, Geppetto se rend compte qu'il doit remettre une précieuse boîte à bijoux à Monsieur le Comte. Pinocchio persuade alors Geppetto de lui laisser livrer l'objet au destinataire. Mais sur le chemin, Pinocchio est distrait par un cirque qui vient de s'installer en ville...
